Barry heads off to England and he and Michelle act like the Beckhams when the arrived in the US.  All hail the global savior! The G20 summit goes on and he calls it a success.  The world is united to fight this economic problem.  Maybe I'm a bit naive but I feel like all the nations of the world are trying to fit in one life boat.  Wouldn't it make more sense for everyone to separate themselves from one another.  Not that I don't believe and unity and all but I don't feel like being tied to the UK with the Socialist Gordy Brown at the helm.  Sure we might pump more of our money into the economies of third world countries, but what if they experience a drought, or a disaster that leaves them suffering? Now everyone attached will suffer.  I see the world all jumping into a bottomless pit together. What if it doesn't work out? Who is left on top? We always hear how a wise investor diversifies their portfolio.  So then would someone please tell me why it makes any sense to put everyone's eggs into one big basket?  I would like our states to have more control over their own economy.  Wouldn't it be nice to know that if some crazy state like California or New York is going through an economic downturn and decides to raise taxes that you could always move to Wyoming and have some fiscal freedom?  The simpler a thing is, the easier it is to fix.  I can easily put batteries in a remote but it'll be a cold day in Hell when I try to fix a watch.  The Global Economy is becoming one enormous, complex watch.  Who will be there to fix it if something goes wrong?

Grab your torch and pitchfork!!! Let us all go to AIG and burn them all to the ground.  They accept money from the government and then pay employees huge bonuses.  We must destroy them!!!

Or at least this is the mood coming from Barry's administration.  These corporate fat cats are stealing our money, but really they didn't steal the money but they were forced to take it so they could "resume business".   So AIG tries to get back to business as usually and suddenly they are what is wrong with our country.  They were trying to honor contracts signed before the bailout happened.  I believe this "outrage" over AIG is all manufactured for a few reasons.  First off it will get the American People to see the "horrors" of capitalism.  The government will have no choice but to ride in and save the day.  We obviously can't trust greedy capitalists and our  "all knowing" government must take over.  The most dangerous thing happening is that Congress is quickly pushing through a tax of 90% on these bonuses.  If we allow our government to retro actively collect taxes we are opening Pandora's box.  What next?  You bought an SUV back in 98.... Gotta pay a new carbon emission tax for the past 11 years... Does anyone really think that Nanners Pelosi wouldn't do something like this?  Liberals love rallying points.  Things to point at to create public outrage.  Iraq, Global Warming, Dick Cheney's hunting skills, and now AIG.  We can't allow ourselves to fall for their tricks.  We must live joyfully... nothing makes a liberal more angry than a happy conservative.  They want everyone to be trembling in fear, scared of anybody who wears a suit.  I am suprised they haven't started rumors that people who make over $50,000 a year get their work ethic from eating the babies of the homeless.  "How can we trust people who work hard when they are getting their energy from the innocent children?"  Again...I bet Nanners is working on a speech with that in it right now.  Don't fall for their fear.  Live happily and trust in God.  If we do not allow the moronic left to become our god then they cannot win. 

Obama has signed yet another massive spending bill loaded with earmarks.  He campaigned saying he was against earmarks but this new bill has close to 9000 earmarks in it.  Of course he can do no wrong.  Somehow he blamed it on Bush, and claimed it marked the end of irresponsible spending.  That wasn't the Saturday Night Live parody, that is what he said.  How much longer can he blame Bush?  The campaign is over but the finger pointing has not stopped.  For some reason I don't believe a word this man says.  When he says the era of earmarks is over while passing 9000 thousand of them is like an alcoholic saying he is on the path to recovery while downing some Jack and Coke.  He knows he can say one thing and do another because his buddies in the media won't report on what happens but what he says.  If I only listened to Barry and didn't watch him I would think he was terrific, but again I am cursed with a brain.  I see what is really going on.  Unfortunately a great deal of Americans love rhetoric.  As long as the words coming out of his mouth make them happy, then all the crap pouring out of his pen can be ignored.  I won't ignore it and I won't let others ignore it.  Please, if you care about what is going on don't let it be ignored.  Let people know the truth.  They will ignore it as long as possible but once the truth effects their lives the scales will fall from their eyes.  As the coach of my favorite football team, the Cincinnati Bengals, likes to say, "I see better than I hear."  Keep your eyes open and report it.  Do not let it go unnoticed.

These were the words of one of my friends on Facebook. These words have stuck in my and I cannot let them go.  I feel a sense of anger just boil up when I hear people speak like this.  Hate Monger? Racist?  How can you come up with this conclusion.  I listen to Rush quite a bit and I have never heard hims say anything hate filled or racially motivated.  It just comes with the territory I guess.  If you are a conservative that's what you get called.  Frankly I'm surprised my liberal pal didn't throw out the word Fascist like it was the first pitch at a baseball game.  Liberals love to use that word like they know what it means.  If you can convince me Mussonlini ever embraced a free market or individual liberty then by all means call me a fascist.  Now the part about wanting the country to fail...come on dude...he has said time and time again he wants our country to succeed but that means that Obama's Marxist policies must fail.  "His guy"?  Again you are showing how much you don't know.  McCain was never Limbaugh's guy, or anyone's guy for that matter. Obama was the complete Anti-"our guy"  and Rush had to support his defeat.  I also find it really funny my friend says 8 million like that is a lot of votes.  over 120 million people voted in this election.  Obama only got 52% of the popular vote.  Bush got 51% over Kerry, and libs act like he barely won, but Obama's 52% is a massive mandate.  Now for my favorite part of my buddies comment.  That the GOP destroyed the country for 8 years.  Pardon me while I laugh...........
OK.  I'm back.  Allow me to destroy this theory for a minute.... The last two years your Donkey party was in control, so you could say six years but at the end of those six our economy was great.  Also let's get in our time machine and go back a couple of years.  Which party was saying that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac could cause some serious trouble?  Now which party said they were doing just fine and it was a good idea to invest in them?  If you are a moron you might get these questions wrong...but if any liberals are reading this I better tell them the answer.  The Republicans knew there were problems but the Dems completely ignored them! 
So, my friend, next time you post on Facebook please use some facts...I know you are a liberal and you hate to look at facts so ask me first and I would be happy to set you straight.

I must confess I must fight through my feelings of hopelessness.  Watching the news can be devastating.  Everyday there is more bad news regarding the economy and our standing with the rest of the world.  Normally I don't give two farts about what the rest of the world thinks of us, but to hear our President gave the Prime Minister of Great Britain DVD's as a gift pains me.  I'm not a big fan of Gordy Brown but I am sure that we will need the support of Great Britain at some point in the near future.  Barry could have at least ponied up for the Blu Rays.  This was the Prime Minister's first visit with our "green" President and he brings a very meaningful gift.  A pen carved from the wood of the HMS Resolute.  That is a very well thought out gift, and what did Barry do... He probably sent Rhambo out to Best Buy.  I guess we should be happy he didn't get him a gift card.  So while the Barmister is ruining our relationship with a great friend in Great Britain Hugo Chavez is signing his praises.  Seriously...  What hope is this?  I was hoping our president wouldn't be the guy who goes to a party with a half drunk bottle of Mums.  I know you are busy and all Barry but you could have at least sent an intern out to find something nice.  Bill Clinton at least knew how to use his interns.  This is a very serious time in American History and I feel like we just put the ball in the hands of Heath Shuler to take us down the field in the final two minutes.  I hope that I can find something to really put my hope in soon.

The British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, is coming to Washington to push the idea of a Global New Deal.  He wants the United States to be involved with reviving the Global Economy.  First off, shut up Gordy, we have our own problems.  Second, I know that Barry, (Citizen of the World), Obama is going to be all over this idea like Marion Berry on crack.  Any chance Barry gets to write a check and hand it over to some "grateful" entity he will do it. (I think someone must have told Barry that being President of The United States is a lot like working for Publishers Clearing House. All he needs is the giant checks and he would be living a dream.)  For some reason I feel like Barry and Congress are like Thelma and Louise.  They have gripped each other’s hands tightly and are speeding toward the looming canyon in the distance.  Why do they refuse to admit that the first New Deal didn't work?  I remember when I was in High School being taught glowingly about the CCC and the TVA and I asked the seemingly obvious question.  "Did it work?" I couldn't get a straight answer.  The books love to talk about this big idea and all that it did for the country, but the Depression continued and in a lot of ways it got worse.  Even as a child it didn't make sense to me.  If it didn't work why do so many people think it was great? Now as a brilliant adult I think I have the answer to that question.  The New Deal gave the Progressives power and control.  Anything that gives the Moronic Left extra control will be praised by future morons for decades.  The New Deal is the Bridgestone Tires on which the vehicle of stupidity rests.
Now the "Global Community" is organizing and they need a "global community organizer", and boy o boy are they in luck.  It just so happens we have the Michael Jordan of community organizers living in the White House.  He is going to organize the crap out of the globe.  Some welfare in Romania, some entitlements to Indonesia, and whole crap I just realized that Universal Health care will almost be truly universal.  If only we could find life on some distant planet.  Barry could promise them free health care and he would be the first Universe Organizer.
The First New Deal didn't work!!! Now we have a New New Deal and they World is asking for a Global New Deal.  The Dominoes of failure are about to come tumbling down.  The mess that will be made may never get cleaned up.  The whack jobs on the left are licking their chops because they can see the power they are going to grab.  The world will be their playground.  They will have full reign to bully everyone around and steal lunch money from the rich kids and give it to the poor kids who are already getting free lunch.

One time that happened, you fear monger!  In fact the one time it this nation responded with "bold action" and "big ideas" we got stuck in a depression for ten years.  How dare this man turn history around to fit his political agenda!  So let's have a dose of real history.
This is the twentieth economic "crisis" our country has faced.  Some times there have been long recessions, and sometimes we have seen short ones.  There has been more than one Depression in this country, but the one referred to as the "Great" Depression was in fact worsened by the "bold ideas" that this new president speaks so highly of.  This was the one time we used "big ideas" and it failed.  Now Barry is standing in front of the country telling us this is something we always do and that it is successful.  Again with the Ashlee Simpson act.  I'm hearing one thing but if I look for myself I'm seeing something completely different.

Not only does Comrade Obama speak out of both sides of his mouth but I'm starting to think he has two mouths all together.  One mouth he uses to speak to the public and the other is the mouth of action. Very rarely have these two mouths matched up.  I think I'll refer to Obama as Ashlee Simpson because his mouth isn't matching what I'm hearing.  I'm hearing that he wants to cut the budget by 2/3 and then I see the new budget come out with funding for things like the Buffalo Bill museum. I am told that he will not except earmarks and then he changes the definition of earmark.  Everyone gets all excited when he said he wants to bring our troops home but then I see he is deploying 17,000 troops to Afghanistan.  I hear that he won't hire lobbyists but now there are plenty of lobbyists working for him.  I am guessing that there was a problem with the band and they thought they were playing a different tune.  It has gone from being comical to being frustrating.  The frustration will soon lead to anger.  I'm hearing hope and change but I'm seeing the same old game but the stakes have gone up and instead of $50 chips their now throwing in $1000 chips.  Those are our chips, and I for one am sick of it.

I would like a few moments to say a few words to our President.  I am sure he is a regular visitor to my blog. 
Mr. President, what the heck are you doing?  I am speaking to you as someone who cares greatly about this country, and who at times has been known to be a bit lazy.  As a lazy American I can tell you that you are doing great damage to this country by trying to bailout so many people.  Every time I read or hear about money you are going to give to people who don’t pay their mortgage or are having financial trouble my ears perk up.  I start to think about how I should get in on some of that money so I don’t have to worry about making money on my own.  I am a stay at home dad and I work part time at Target to just get us over the financial hump.  After a long day of hearing my four year old son and nearly two year old daughter scream at each other I would like nothing better than to sit back with a 12 pack of Miller High Life and do nothing, but I have to get up and go to Target and work until 11 o’clock at night.  Now I hear about all this aid you want to give people, and I’m tempted to just quit my job and permanently paste my chubby butt on my couch.  Do you realize, sir, that I am not the only person who has these thoughts?  I of course will not really follow through with this dream, because I not only have, but I regularly use my brain.  I realize that this country will not succeed by my mooching off of those who do work.  I, unlike, 94.3% of your constituents can think through a situation.  I can look at the big picture and not focus solely on my comfort.  Mark my words Mr. President, as a man known for his love of laying on a couch, you are giving a large group of people hope to live a dream.  That dream is the dream of nothingness.  It is a paradise of cold beer and HD TV.  It is a wonderful place, Mr. President, and once someone thinks that dream is within their grasp they will cease to function within our society.  It is my dream too, that is how I know.

So, Jerry Brown (California Attorney General) said on the Michael Savage Show that “a little state control never hurt anybody.”  Of course he was referring to the “fairness doctrine”, and the government controlling talk radio. Excuse me Mr. Brown, but are you serious? It never hurt anybody? Ever hear of a little place called the USSR? What about China? Maybe Cuba? State control not only hurt a whole lot of people, but it also killed a lot of people. I know you don’t think you are speaking of the same thing as Communist control of all media. You just want to make talk radio more “fair” and more “balanced”. Why don’t you go to MSNBC and make them more balanced? Because you don’t care about balance, you care about the same thing the Commie Bastards of the Soviet Union cared about – Control. You may feel you are doing good things and have good intentions, but we all know the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I say, the road to Communism is paved with stupid liberal ideas. What’s next? We’re going to hear Harry Reid say that spending some time in a Gulag never hurt anybody? Nancy Pelosi is going to say that waiting in line for 14 hours for toilet paper never hurt anybody?  We are heading down a dangerous road.  I hope the American public wakes up very soon.

In our new Cold Civil War we have one thing that our opposition does not. We have a foundation.  We stand upon something that cannot be shaken.  Our feet are planted firmly on a rock that will not roll.  God.  Our God is not Wall Street, or the Housing Market, and it is definitely not Government Funded Programs.  Our God is the God of love.  He is the maker of the Heavens and the Earth.  He will not change, he will not collapse, and he will not let us fall. If your foundation is anything that man has made, then when that foundation falls (and all man made things fall) you too will fall and you will fail.  When all your hope is placed on one man and his ideas then you are certain to come crashing down.  Our hope is in God.  Our beliefs are built on top of the one true God.  I have no fear of losing that foundation.  No matter what the markets do.  No matter what my tax rate will become I will be standing strong and tall.  When the world is crumbling around us, and all of the wonderful systems that have been built to protect us collapse we will no be falling. We did not stand upon the beliefs of that system.  My ideas and my beliefs have nowhere to go, because they rest on the ever present Lord God.

We are entering a time in American History never before seen.  For all the complaining we have heard from the far off reaches of Left America about how President Bush was polarizing this country, I feel The great Obama has polarized us even more.  What is left are two totally different sides, fighting for two totally different things.  One side has a history of truth, and common sense.  The other is filled with pipe dreams and turd sandwiches.  The turd sandwich side wants to feed this country with failed visions of a Utopian Society.  They speak the way Lenin spoke about the plight of the common man.  They plant fear and harvest apathy.  They cannot argue with their critics so they will try to remove their opposition.  They want to pass a "fairness doctrine" to legislate the opinions people hear.  They want to be seen as the great givers while hiding the fact they are the greatest takers we have known.  They will mask their identities with fuzzy media stories.  Their foot soldiers live in Hollywood Mansions, and kiss the hand of Chavez.  They will make a majority of people dependant on them for survival, by telling the masses that one can't make it on their own. 
Our side will not stand by and let this happen.  We will not sit quietly and watch this happen.  Our agenda will not be masked.  Our ideas will not be costumed in ribbons and bows.  We must reach people with the truth.  We must speak openly about believing is something that is real.  We must show sympathy with those in lesser postions than our own but encourage them to find away to stand back up.  We will march, and speak, and shout, and read, and listen.  Ours is a true position to stand upon, for we have a foundation that has held us up for 223 years.  We will remember the words of our Four Fathers.  We will not allow their great vision to be perverted.
We are entering into The Cold Civil War.  We will fight our brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers.  We cannot back down.  This war is too important to be lost.  Our side will win.

Despite Congressional Democrats promising to post the Stimulus Bill for 48 hours a vote is being rushed less than 24 hours after being made available.  The document is over 1000 pages long.  Even Democrats admit that no one will be able to read the entire bill before it is voted on.  So what is in this bill that is being hidden?  Why is it that during this new era of transparency we are all being kept in the dark?  I am truly more angered by the feverish pace this is moving than I am about it passing.   The Democrats are doing this in a clandestine manner that should cry foul to anyone paying attention.  I believe the Democrats are counting on people not paying attention.  They have the media running interference covering feel good stories about who is going to get free money.  This is bogus.  I am angry, and every American should be angry, even if you support piles of crap. We aren't talking about a few thousand dollars.  Or even a few million or billion.  We are on the brink of putting generations of Americans on the line for a trillion dollars.  Not only are We the People being left in the dark but so are our elected representatives.  Shame on you.  I don't expect a lot from Democrats in the way of integrity, but this crosses a line that should open many eyes.  Yes, this is who liberals are.  They do not care about any opinion but their own.  They do not care about anything but their own political successes.  They must be stopped.

President Obama is assuring the country that his pork laden "stimulus" bill has no earmarks in it.  So to make sure he keeps his promise he is doing the only thing liberals know how to do: Spin.  He is redefining what an "earmark" is.   The Congressional Research Service defines it as "Provisions associated with legislation (appropriations or general legislation) that specify certain congressional spending priorities or in revenue bills that apply to a very limited number of individuals or entities. Earmarks may appear in either the legislative text or report language (committee reports accompanying reported bills and joint explanatory statement accompanying a conference report)."  Using that definition this bill is loaded with earmarks.  Fish Passage Barrels, ATV trails, Golf Carts, and ACORN to just name a few.  Seeing as even the King of Crap himself can't say there are no earmarks using that definition he has to go out and make up his own.  Obama is now saying that an earmark is anything that gets added after the House and Senate pass their individual bills.  So now that it is going to conference Obama is saying that no earmarks will be added.  So not only will he lower the seas and heal the earth but he can change the very meaning of words. This man is going off the deep end.  He will do and say whatever he wants and then gloss over it by redefining what he has said.  Let's just call him Barack "Webster" Obama.  The last time a President tried to give words new meaning they were the words "is" and "sexual relations".  Liberals are so much better than the average person that the have authority over our very language.

Recently our country may have put it's other foot into it's own grave.  Three Senators, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, and Arlen Specter broke ranks with the Republican Party and voted to allow the so called "Stimulus" package to go on to a vote.  The breaking of ranks has nearly destroyed a country that I love.  The road we are heading down is clear.  History has already told us how this will end.  Has anyone heard of the Depression of 1920?  NO!  because the Government did nothing and the economy recovered quickly.  How about the "Great Depression" of 1929?  We have all been told about the heroics of FDR.  The Government got involved and we were only saved by WWII.  Our children will never know the country that I know.  History books will not reveal the greatness of Capitalism, and a Free Market.  I am not done fighting, but I know that these could be my last punches.  We must all stand up now.  All of us who believe in freedom.  All of us who believe in the American Dream.  We cannot allow this to happen while we sit wringing our hands.  Fight now, fight hard, and fight to the end.
